The Patient Care Technology/Medical AssistingProgram is an eight-month program designed to train students to a level in patient care technology that prepares them for certification and employment as a PCT. This course offers students training in anatomy and basic science, CPR, First Aid, Phlebotomy, EKG, and patient care technology, Certificates available in this course include: Nurse Aid, Phlebotomy, and Electrocardiogram. The diploma obtainable upon completion of the program is Patient Care Technician.

Program Credentials
All prospective applicants will be required to score accepted levels on any one of three exams: Pass the HESI with a minimum score of 50 on Math and 60 on Reading or Asset with 38 Math and 42 Reading or 9th grade equivalency on TABE. ACT scores of 14 in all three areas of Math, Reading, and English are acceptable for those less than age 20
